The Pointe Shawl by Julie Knits in Paris - This is Knit
In our last post, we mentioned that we are busy getting ready for Yarnporium and today we're ready to reveal the first of the fabulous yarn kits that will be available at our stand in London.     This is the beautiful Pointe Shawl by Julie Knits in Paris , knit with 2 skeins of Townhouse Yarns Fade Street and 1 Skien of Fine Fish Yarns Aura Lace. Pointe is an ethereal shawl featuring an airy combination of garter stitch and brioche lace worked on 3.5 mm needles.   The brioche lace section of this shawl is perfect if you want to bring your brioche knitting to the next level, all while enjoying the luxury yarns created by two talented Irish hand-dyers.  You all know how much we love Fade St, but when it's combined with the halo of Fine Fish Aura Lace you end up with an heirloom shawl that is both elegant and timeless.     Of course, we will have this beautiful shawl with us at Yarnporium so you can see it up close and personal and even try it on for size. Each of our shawl kits will contain 2 skeins of Townhouse Yarns Fade St and 1 skein of Fine Fish Yarns Aura Lace, in a range of mouthwatering colourways. Julie Dubreux is not only a talented designer, but a lovely person too. You might even have the chance to meet her if you're coming along to Yarnporium - she's teaching a series of workshops across the weekend itself. She has a spectacular sense of style and her projects always have the "wow" factor. Just look at the glorious wingspan on this beautiful wrap...   We'll be back with more tantalising Yarnporium posts soon, so stay tuned for those temptations!
With our thanks to Nadia of CottageNotebook for beautifully photographing all the projects for our Yarnporium series.

That is a truly beautiful shawl. It looks light weight, yet warm too. I love the colour. I want one :)
