Introducing The Fibre Company at Woollinn

We hope you are enjoying our little announcements about what we are bringing to Woollinn! Today we are very excited to show you some fabulous goodies from our friends at The Fibre Co.
We will have a tantalising range of beautiful Fibre Co. yarns on display, along with some dreamy finished samples including:
Featured on the cover of Laine issue 3, the Hay sweater is designed by Clare Mountain and made with TFC's incredibly soft, Road to China Light. Hay is a boxy, slightly cropped sweater knitted from bottom to top with gridded lace side panels which split at the armhole and follow the drop shoulder creating a graceful look. It's a perfect garment for those transitional seasons and made in the Road to China Light it also feels incredibly luxurious against your skin.

The Di shawl is a triangular shawl made with TFC deliciously soft Luma yarn. The shawl is worked with a combination of garter and brioche stitch from the tip to the widest edge while increases are made at the edges. Short row shaping is then added towards the wide end to achieve an overall more pleasing shape.
Luma is a unique blend of Merino Wool, Cotton, Silk and Linen. Mixing plant-based fibres with silk and wool provides a built-in layer of warmth in winter yet lightness when required in warmer temperatures. This yarn also has excellent stitch definition, which this brioche pattern shows off to great effect...
