A Treat Box For The Yarn Obsessed

Then it's time to treat yourself (or an equally knit-obsessed friend) to a Festive Surprise Gift Box from This is Knit!

This beautifully presented gift box contains some very specially selected yarn, an engaging shawl pattern designed exclusively for the set, together with some delightful bonus notions and goodies.

While the exact contents are a surprise, you can choose a broad theme from the two inspiration images shown. These images were the starting point for the creation of one full skein of luxury yarn and two accompanying contrast skeins, all from Tara of Irish Artisan Yarn.


Your Festive Surprise Box will contain:


  • 200 g of luxury fibre yarns from Irish Artisan Yarns (one full skein and two 50g skeins, all in a blend of merino, yak and nylon)
  • A full colour booklet containing the "Meadow Dance" shawl pattern, specially designed by Ailbíona McLochlainn
  • Along with some surprise treats too!

Pattern Skill Level:

The design is suitable for intermediate knitters. Some of the methods used in the pattern may be unfamiliar, but the techniques are fully and clearly explained.

Full charts are provided and a digital version can be sent upon request so that charts may be enlarged tablets or computers.

 

Shipping timeline:

All treat boxes will begin shipping from the 24th of October 2023

Tax-free pricing is available for customers outside the EU and this will be reflected at checkout.

We ship Tuesday - Friday each week.

Highly enjoyable

The yarn is incredibly soft and comes in gorgeous colours, it's a real joy to knit! The instructions are easy to follow, lovely pattern. Great gifts and nice box make the Festive Surprise 2023 perfect - as last year. I am already looking forward to the Festive Surprise 2024 :)

Such gorgeous yarn!

The presentation of the box is beautiful but it is nothing compared to the beautiful yarn inside. This may be the softest yarn I've ever felt and I'm sure it will knit up beautifully. The colors are lovely and reminiscent of the Irish seascape. Nice surprise of two extra little gifts. I can't wait to start. The box arrived safely in the U.S.

Festive Surprise 2023

Every year at Christmas I treat myself to a special gift. This year it's the Festive Surprise Box. Of course, I won't open it until Christmas Eve, so I can't say anything about the contents yet. But the box itself looks beautiful and I'm already looking forward to it. Many Greetings from Germany!
