All the latest and greatest

We've been adding a lot of new products to the website lately and we thought you might like to take a lookie! Introducing Araucania – A Brand New, Artisan Hand Dyed Yarn from Chile We are thrilled to be the first stockist in Ireland of “Araucania” yarns and patterns! These variegated yarns are kettle dyed to achieve unique colour combinations and tone-on-tone effects. Within the range there are currently six yarn types available and all are now on the website for your viewing pleasure! Jane Ellison has also come together with Araucania to produce a pattern book of fun, wearable garments. Also New to TIK – The Fyberspates Range Hand dyed in Wales by Jeni Brown. Alpaca Sock Yarn, Scrumptious DK, Blue Faced Leicester Aran in Solid Colours and Lace Weight Silk – all at very competitive prices! And Check out our latest delivery of Lorna’s Laces Yarn We have re-stocked your favourite yarns and colours and introduced some new shades to tickle your yarny taste buds. There’s lots and lots of Shepherd Sock in there to keep the tiny needles clicking (we’re loving “Desert Flower”, and we also have “Baltic Sea” and “Envy” for the men in your life) and plenty of beautiful Lion and Lamb for aspiring Clapotis knitters. This is a bit of a shameless, woo-hoo moment, but we were mentioned on the Lorna's Laces blog a little while back! Scroll to the end... Tofutsies from South West Trading Company We have every colour in the new range of Tofutsies Sock Yarn. If you haven’t tried Tofutsies yet, now is the time – you’ll be amazed at how silky and comfortable a fabric it creates! Due to a change in supplier we can now offer this yarn at the improved price of €14.50 (previously €18.00 per ball). One ball is plenty for a pair of socks, some knitters with smaller feet may even get two pairs… Panda Cotton by Crystal Palace Yarns Another unusual sock yarn, this time with a high bamboo content and elastic nylon for stretch. As it contains no wool it is perfect for those with wool allergies, and for baby knits. Have You Seen the New Noro Yarns? Silk Garden Lite and Cash Island have been added to our Noro range. Jane Ellison’s new pattern book “Pure Noro” show cases these new yarns and is already a firm favourite in the shop. Debbie Bliss New Season Yarns Also in Stock. Luxury Tweed and Rialto Aran are both set to be popular winter yarns. Here at TIK, as you know, Jacqui has already knit the divine Sofia from Rialto DK and now Lisa has cast on for the “Bluebell” Boatneck Sweater from Fitted Knits using Rialto Aran. There is a great squidginess factor to this yarn! Progress reports will be on the blog as usual… Also, don’t forget to check out the new shades for Autumn/Winter across the Cashmerino range. CLASSES AT TIK The new season is now in full swing and sign ups are going very well, with people booking ahead as far as December! Book your places soon to avoid dissapointment…
