Wheel Spinning Workshop

Class Description:

Learn the basics of wheel spinning, the long-draw and short-draw methods, along with being introduced to more advanced techniques like navajo-plying, andean-plying and working with different fibres. There will be two spinning wheels made available for the workshop but participants are free to bring their own wheels

DROP SPINDLE

Class Description:

Spinners have been making wool with drop spindles for thousands of years. For modern knitters and crocheters, a hands-on understanding of how yarn is created can assist in making yarn choices for your projects. In this class, you will learn how to use a drop spindle to create your own yarn. Materials are included in the class fees, so all you will need to bring is yourself.
